Here is a budget friendly find from the Boom Boom Room Baby Shower event I attended a few weeks back. I am loving the Bugalug product line.

Above is just a sampling of the very adorable hair clips available from Bugalug. With two young girls, our house has seen a LOT of hair clips- in all their many varieties.

I am a big fan of the way ribbon covered "alligator clamp" clips look, but in the past I have been disappointed by the fact that they could always find a way to escape my child's hair. This is doubly frustrating, because the ribbon clips tend to cost much more than the traditional metal hair clips out there.

These ribbon headbands do not have any silicone strips added to the inside, but they manage to stay in place thanks to an adjustable toggle. The headband can be adjusted to be adult-size too if you want to steal your child's accessories from time to time like I do.
