Invisibelt Giveaway

My best friend and my worst enemy: my jeans.  I like to get the lowrise with a little stretch in them.  For me they are more comfortable, they look better, and they give the illusion that I actually have a butt.  My jeans and I get along great for the first 3? 4 hours?  After that the honeymoon is over and we start tug-o-war...and I always lose.
I didn't realize how ridiculous I looked yanking my pants up until I caught someone doing a tug through the window heading into Target.  I laughed until I realized it was my reflection.
So why not just wear a belt?
1) I like to wear long, form fitting shirts and hate the bulge of a belt under that.
2) I'm always between the hole sizes in belts.  It's either too tight or too loose.
So where do I turn?  The Invisibelt.
1) It holds my pants up with zero belt bulk under my long shirts.   The only bulk that's left is up to me to take to the gym.  It's great for any kind of pants, including dress pants.
2) It adjusts like a bra, so I can get the perfect fit.  Plus, the belt itself has just a tiny bit of stretch.  I've never had to undo my Invisibelt because I ate one-too-many brownies.
Con: I like that it gets the perfect adjustment, but don't much like how the buckle or adjuster looks.  But, considering that the point is for the belt to not be seen, it really isn't much of a con.

Bonus Pro: Huge score for the traveling mom!  Never have to hold your toddler and your pants up while your belt goes through airport security.  The belt is completely metal-free.  Forget about moms, everybody loves that!!

You can get the Invisibelt for $19.95 in clear and now (my favorite) in black.  The same belt works for sizes 0-14 (so it works for post-pregnancy, too!).  Or get the plus size belt that fits up to 4x.

Who wants to win an Invisibelt?  Comment with your reason for loving the Invisibelt, along with your color preference, and TWO lucky readers will win!!  Contest ends at midnight on Tuesday, March 18th.  Thank you, Invisibelt

Jillie Willie

The search for the perfect apron lasted a lot longer than necessary at my house. I was having a hard time finding what I wanted because I was looking for something specific. The apron originally was for my 21 month old toddler, and needed to meet three criteria.

1. The apron needed to bring a keepsake quality to the photos I would take of her, while she helped me in the kitchen. Something feminine, fashionable and sassy.
2. I wanted the apron to be functional (it is after all an apron).
3. I didn't want to spend a fortune.

Enter, Jillie Willie.

Jillie Willie makes these fabulous designer aprons with the perfect amount of embellishments. I instantly fell in love with them, and now have one for me and my daughter. That's right, I have one too (see below photo), and I'm tempted to throw my heels on whenever I wear mine. They're that cute.

No daughter, no problem. Jillie Willie has aprons for sons who like to help out in the kitchen too, and a lot of other quality products (more than just aprons) at affordable prices. All of their products are individually designed and they use fun fabrics, creating the perfect mesh between traditional and modern. These uniquely designed products are only available directly from Jillie Willie. Take a look, we're sure you'll love them too.

Who wants to win not one, but two of these Jillie Willie aprons? We are doing a mommy/daughter give-away! One lucky winner will receive the Toddler Annie Bib, and the Adult Suzie Homemaker Apron--it has a built in dish towell!! Enter by leaving a comment on this post by midnight July 15. Indicate in your comment what you like most about these aprons. For you citrus readers with no children- these would make a great gift, so enter! We will randomly select one winner from the post comments. Shipping to Continental US only. Thank you Jillie Willie, the sponsor of this drawing!

Bugalug

Here is a budget friendly find from the Boom Boom Room Baby Shower event I attended a few weeks back. I am loving the Bugalug product line.

Above is just a sampling of the very adorable hair clips available from Bugalug. With two young girls, our house has seen a LOT of hair clips- in all their many varieties.

I am a big fan of the way ribbon covered "alligator clamp" clips look, but in the past I have been disappointed by the fact that they could always find a way to escape my child's hair. This is doubly frustrating, because the ribbon clips tend to cost much more than the traditional metal hair clips out there.

Bugalug's clips have a small strip of silicone added to the interior that allow them to actually grip the hair, and stay in place. Both of my girls have worn the Bugalug clips over the last few weeks, and we have yet to have one of these go MIA. Check out all of the color offerings.

I am also a big fan of Bugalug's headbands.

These ribbon headbands do not have any silicone strips added to the inside, but they manage to stay in place thanks to an adjustable toggle. The headband can be adjusted to be adult-size too if you want to steal your child's accessories from time to time like I do. I currently have my eye on the black velvet headband from the fancy pants collection.

Bugalug Barrettes cost $4 each, and the headbands run $8. You can purchase them directly from www.bugalugbaby.com. Right now all you lucky citrus readers get 10% with the coupon code CITRUS10 at checkout. This coupon will expire 6/30.

Who wants to win some Bugalug?!? One lucky citrus reader will win a pair of barrettes and a headband! Enter by midnight on June 3rd by leaving a comment (any comment) on this post. No anonymous comments please. If you would like us to contact you by email, please include your email in the comment. If not, check back next Wednesday to see if you struck the accessory jackpot. Continental US and Canada shipping only.
