Citrus Shout Out

Two friends of mine have recently started up blogs that I have been so impressed with. I check both of them now daily.

The first one is Sophistimom, by my friend Jaime. This blog is filled with amazing recipes- and accompanying photography. In addition to recipes, Jaime has included posts on parenting and motherhood. I am loving it. Who wouldn't want to whip up a batch of these pumpkin cookies?!?

The second blog of note is Perch, started by my friend Justina. Perch is a place where Justina highlights products that have caught her eye. I am an Etsy lover, and many items that she highlights are found off of Etsy- so checking out her blog is always a treat for me. She also has weekly give-aways. Right now you can enter to win some fabric (even the pattern pictured above, if you like!) so head on over there and enter.

Now may also be a good time to introduce two new contributors here at Citrus. They deserve a shout-out in every way. Hooray for Dinah and Rachel! Both are very dear friends of mine who have so much to add to this blog.

Dinah is a very good friend of 15+ years, and she amazing in absolutely every way. I could go on and on right now but it would totally embarrass her. She has so much on her plate right now with a husband in medical residency, and three adorable girls to care for- so I am grateful that she is able to spend some time here writing for citrus!

Rachel is my very dear NYC friend who has recently been transplanted in Texas. She is an interior designer, and mother to one very lovable redhead. Super talented woman, with fantastic taste- and a great eye for design.
