Kaboost Giveaway

You have some friends over and decide to remove the booster seat from the chair so you can all have a place to sit at the table. It comes off and (yikes!) the booster seat was hiding a mass of shriveled peas, bread crumbs, and mystery meats (I swear I cleaned under there yesterday!). Although the food can be wiped away, the terrible scratches cannot (I thought there were pads on that booster seat!!?). An embarassing experience, and not a safe way to dry meats. This has happened to me, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

The Kaboost Portable Chair Booster removes my two biggest complaints about booster seats: filthiness and destruction of my furniture. As a bonus, it also removes my little boy's biggest complaint: not sitting in a big chair like the rest of us.
The Kaboost stretches to fit almost any chair and can be flipped over to provide a higher or lower level of boost. It has rubber grips in all the right places, so it sticks to the chair even if you pick the chair up, and it doesn't damage my chair or my floor, and keeps my little guy safe. See a demo here.

The Kaboost is designed for children ages 20 months to 6 years. I love that Target.com points out that it can be used for "children up to 300 lbs." If you have a 300 lb. child, I would suggest you don't get this booster. Perhaps your child should be jogging in place as they eat instead.
I really like the Kaboost a lot. The only issue I have is the result of my vanity. The Kaboost makes one chair higher than the rest. In our kitchen, my little guy's chair is in a position in the room so its height difference isn't as noticeable. If it bothered me more, I would just buy another Kaboost for my 5 year old daughter and put them each at the heads of the table. I have read others complain that the rubber grips work a little too well and requires you to lift the whole chair when you want to move it. It's true. The solution? We don't move it. The chair stays just far enough away from the table for our 3 year old to slide in and out. He usually crosses his legs while he eats. It works for us, but I'm not sure how well that would work for a younger child to climb in on their own.
Available for purchase from Kaboost or find it at Target.com for only $29.99!!

Who wants to win a Kaboost? Just enter by leaving a comment here indicating your favorite feature of the Kaboost. Make sure you enter before midnight on Tuesday, September 16!! Open to Continental U.S. only. Thanks Kaboost!!

What a great way to transition from a high chair to the big chair! I love that it doesn't scratch chairs or floors.

this would be great. I like that is doesn't scratch the floor and you don't have the gross mess like you do under the booster. It would be good to get away from the booster. Also my daughter wants to be big like her big sister and not sit in a booster but then she can't reach very well and make big messes.

What a great product! It seems like new "can't live without" products are always coming out!

That is too cool...I like that it's not as bulky as a booster and can easily be transported to Grandma's house and fit on those chairs too!

Thanks for the laugh! Your jogging in place comment was a hoot...300 pounds...WOW!

Oh, I so need this. I Love that you can use the chairs that you already have. I have been searching for a taller chair/stool with sides on it. I don't think they exist. This product would be great.

How great! I would love to do away with the booster, and the no-scratch feature is wonderful! How ingenious! I would love one! This would make my son feel even more like a "big boy," sitting like the rest of us!

The Rubberized feet are awesome so it won't scratch the floor OR my chairs.

That is a neat idea. I like that it is so versatile and can fit any type of chairs.

I love that it doesn't really change the "look" of your table set. No extra chairs or booster seats.

I laughed when I read it would hold up to 300 lbs. I think it would be great to take when we are at a restaurant or friends house, but we wouldn't want to take a booster seat with us. I also love it makes the chair sturdier and maybe my son won't be able to push himself away from the table. :)

I have been wanting one of these for several months now. I love that it isn't a big, bulky booster seat that I have to find somewhere to stash in my tiny NY apartment when it isn't in use! Please pick me!

What a wonderful design! Happy mothers everywhere!! So much easier and... dang, looks like it even takes up less space if stored out of the way for a night! Great product!

That would be great for when I have my nephews over. My favorite feature is no booster seat to deal with and the 2 1/2 year old can be just like his big brother and sit in a big chair.

My two year old loves to be a big boy so he hates sitting in a booster seat... so I love that he will still get to feel like a big boy in this chair!!

Lots of favorite features but I like that it snaps on easily!

I hope you don't mind, I linked from a friends blog. I love this! The greatest would be what was mentioned, there's no where for the food to hide!! So much less to clean!

I definitely could use this product. My three year old hates his booster, so having him seat up high and not need to use a booster would be amazing!

Please of please! Help me get rid of my booster seat!

I would love this for either of my kids since they are 14 months apart and both in boosters. Favorite feature is that you dont have to take the boosters on and off for company :)
