The Tassi- Product Give Away!

Back in college I was recruited to attend a Mary Kay beauty night as a model. At first I was flattered, until I realized that about twenty Mary Kay consultants were gathered to try and sell their wares to just one person- me. Anyway, that night I learned that every night you don't wash your face adds x amount of years of aging to your skin. I am not sure if I believe it since I should look like I am 80 by that formula- but I still guiltily think of that "factoid" every night I go to sleep with my make up still on. I was running some sort of non face washing record until I found the Tassi. It was when I looked at my skin and contemplated spending $200 for a facial at the Bliss Spa I found the Tassi and thought "Duh! Just start washing your face!"

You see, the one reason I hate to wash my face is that I hardly ever have a headband and hair tie nearby. I have always had shortish hair with bangs and short layers that get in the way when I try to wash my face. So, rather than spend 10 minutes digging through makeup cases and drawers I just skip washing altogether.

Since I got my Tassi about a month ago, I have washed every night! It sits atop my make up bag and takes one second to put on. I wash my face without any hair in the way or clips falling out mid-rinse. As a result, my skin is visibly grateful to have the Tassi. Take that $200 facial!

I do feel a little silly when I wear it, but I guess not everyone can look as fab as the girls in the Tassi video.

If pink just isn't your fav, check out their other colors. You can use it for facials and applying makeup too. I also find it useful for the mornings I hop in the shower and don't wash my hair (every other day). I slip on the Tassi so it keeps my hair out of the way and dry while I wash every where else. And for you hot roller ladies? I think it would be great to wear over the rollers to keep them in place till you are ready for them to come out- I was never good at pinning them in tight enough that they would stay in place for very long.

The terry cloth is very soft and easily tossed in the washer should you get it messy with makeup. The elastic band keeps it steady while there is plenty of terry fabric so your hair doesn't get smooshed. For example, a few times a week I manage to wake up on my non-hair washing day without bedhead! And using the Tassi to wash up doesn't mess my hair at all.

Is your skin wishing you had your very own Tassi? Tassi would like to help make THREE Citrus reader's skin happy. Leave a comment on this post by midnight September 23rd and be entered to win one- a $14.99 value. THREE winners will be announced on the morning of September 24th. Please check back to see if you have won. Shipping to Continental US and Canada only. Good luck!

I think I could have written this post - down to the model at a Mary Kay meeting part. The only thing that I haven't done is wear a Tassi. I NEED this and maybe I'll start washing my face at night too.

Having short hair as well, I feel your woes and my inconsistency with night washing. I would like a miracle worker to help wash away the years.

I think I could win the record for not washing my face at night. A Tassi would definitely help change that.

This would be awesome. My hair has always been long, until I cut almost all of it off and now every time i bend over to get a drink out of a drinking fountain or wash my face ALL of my hair goes into the water! GAH so frustrating!

I guess I'm with Holly on this one, and should actually wash my face once in awhile. The Tassi review is very inspiring. Maybe tonight... :)

Okay, this is fabulous. I have the short hair prob as well! I'm thinking I could have your "no face-washing record" totally owned.

I'm a new reader and am loving this blog, by the way!

I've seen these a couple times now and the more I see them, the better I like them and the more I want one! It's really so much better than a headband!
